Lyle Hutchins is a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter based in Chesterfield, New Hampshire. He is known for his vividly emotive indie folk-rock songs that combine organic instrumentation with homespun production. He counts artists such as Bon Iver, Samantha Crain, and Ruston Kelly among his varied influences. Performing both solo and as a three piece with drummer Julio Avael and bassist Flora Miroslaw, Lyle has been gigging regularly since the age of 15 and songwriting since the age of 12. His past performances have ranged from French Quarter Fest 2023 with a Loyola Ensemble, now four times at Tipitinas performing a range of covers and original material, the Ozone Songwriter Festival in Mandeville, LA, Carrolton Station, the Neutral Ground Coffeehouse, multiple times at The Labyrinth opening for Limp Towel, The Heartland, and alongside Cason Taite and Tabitha Marie. He also continues to play in and around his hometown, slinging songs alongside folk bands such as the White Mountain Rounders, performing at theaters (Peterborough Players) and marketplaces (the River Garden Marketplace in Brattleboro, Vermont.) Lyle was also one of only six independent musicians sponsored to attend Americana Fest 2023 in Nashville where he had the privilege of meeting and discussing music with one of his childhood heroes and namesake, Lyle Lovett.
