Played as a single-act musical entertainer for 35 years. Has done professional song evaluation and critiques for the Nashville Songwriters Association International and Broadjam.com. Had to move back to Oklahoma for family reasons in July 2017 after 20 years of living in Nashville, but comes to Maine every year. Tirk believes that Maine Songwriters are a cut above most other states in the country.
