Best known for decades of ground-breaking environment-focused journalism, mostly for The New York Times, Andy has been a performing songwriter since the early 1990s and was a frequent accompanist of Pete Seeger over the last 20 years of the folk icon's life. He and his wife moved to Hancock County, Maine, fulltime in 2022.
